Multi-tasking strengthens your brain
Is the bombardment of information technology good or bad? Are we being constantly distracted or enriched? Is it possible to learn anything if you are constantly switching between email, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter? I have had numerous debates trying to answer these questions. My instinct has always been in favor of technology and now my viewpoint is backed up by the director of the UCLA center on Aging, Dr. Gary Small. He found that the brain is actually rewired by the process of switching between different technologies. His book iBrain has brain-enhancement strategies and memory exercises. If I don’t forget the title, I hope to read it soon!
