Vocabulary tool for your visual learner
Weboword is a fun vocabulary tool for your visual learner. For each vocabulary word, there is a definition, a cartoon, the Greek or Latin root, an easy-to-understand pronunciation key and the word in sentences. The interactive crossword puzzles are small and have word banks, which gives you a quick vocabulary activity. The clues ask you to put the words in sentences. If you are concerned about students and social networking, this may not be a good site for your classroom because students can write posts and add photos in an online forum.

I would like to inform you that though we do not handle the social networking features on our site currently, we do have a zone WeboWord Connect, which is essentially a Ning group. http://weboword.ning.com Here, not only can students and teachers connect but can also submit their creations and we’d be glad to feature them on the homepage of WeboWord.
We are currently working on a complete overhaul of WeboWord and shall keep you in the loop, when our brand new look is unveiled!
